Archwilio’r Grefft o Weithio Gyda Phlant yn Chwarae

10/08/2019—27/10/2019
Ar agor 10am-5pm,
dydd Llun i ddydd Sadwrn

Arddangosfa yn canoli ar faes chwarae rhyngweithiol ynghŷd â dogfennaeth gwaith chwarae radical yn Wrecsam, yn cynnwys:

Assemble
Morag Colquhoun
Gareth Griffith
Ludicology
Gweithwyr Chwarae Wrecsam

Mae Tŷ Pawb yn dod a maes chwarae antur i’w oriel ar gyfer ei arddangosfa nesaf, GWAITH-CHWARAE
Mae pedwar maes chwarae antur yng Nghymru. Mae Wrecsam yn gartref i dri ohonynt: Dyffryn Gwenfro, Y Tir ac Yr Antur, ynghyd a chyfoeth o gynlluniau chwarae cymunedol eraill. Astudiwyd y meysydd chwarae hyn gan ymchwilwyr chwarae o bob cwr o’r byd. Yn lleol, mae’r safleoedd hyn yn rhan ganolog o fywyd i nifer o deuluoedd. Daeth nifer o staff presennol y safleoedd hyn ar draws y meysydd chwarae fel plant eu hunain.
Bydd GWAITH-CHWARAE yn canolbwyntio ar y berthynas rhwng oedolion a phlant, ac ar greu cofnod i ddathlu gwaith chwarae radical ers yr 1970au ym meysydd chwarae antur byd-enwog Wrecsam.
Craidd yr arddangosfa fydd tirlun chwarae, a gafodd ei ddylunio a’i godi mewn proses ar y cyd rhwng yr artistiaid, Ludicology, staff Tŷ Pawb a Thîm Cefnogi Chwarae ac Ieuenctid a meysydd chwarae antur Wrecsam. O fewn y tirlun chwarae bydd gwaith comisiwn newydd gan Morag Colquhoun, sydd wedi creu tecstilau yn arbennig ar gyfer ‘darnau chwarae’ rhyngweithiol.
Bydd gweithiau celf ceirt gwthio ymarferol a gynlluniwyd gan Gareth Griffith wedi eu cynnwys hefyd. Mae’r ceirt wedi eu creu gan blant a staff o brosiectau gwaith chwarae Wrecsam. Yn ogystal, bydd ‘The Voice of Children’, ffilm gan gydweithredfa Assemble sydd wedi ennill Gwobr Turner yn cael ei arddangos yn yr oriel.

PLAY-WORK
Exploring The Art Of Working With Playing Children

10/08/2019—27/10/2019
open 10am-5pm,
Monday to Saturday

An exhibition centring on an interactive playscape alongside documentation of radical playwork in Wrexham, featuring:

Assemble
Morag Colquhoun
Gareth Griffith
Ludicology
Wrexham Playworkers

Tŷ Pawb is bringing an adventure playground into its gallery for its next exhibition, PLAY-WORK.
There are four adventure playgrounds in Wales. Wrexham is home to three of them: The Gwenfro Valley, The Land and The Venture, in addition to a wealth of other community playschemes. These playgrounds have been studied by play researchers from across the globe. Locally, the sites are an integral part of life for many families. Many of the current staff at these sites first encountered the playgrounds as children themselves.
PLAY-WORK will centre on the relationship between adults and children, and on celebratory documentation of radical playwork since the 1970s at Wrexham’s world-renowned adventure playgrounds.
The core of the exhibition will be a playscape, designed and built in a collaborative process between the artists, Ludicology, Tŷ Pawb Staff and the local authority's Play & Youth Support Team and Wrexham's adventure playgrounds. Within the playscape will be a new commission by Morag Colquhoun, who has created textiles specifically for interactive ‘loose parts’.
Functional push-cart artworks designed by Gareth Griffith also feature. The carts have fabricated by children and staff from Wrexham playwork projects. Additionally, ‘The Voice of Children’, a film by Turner Prize winning collective Assemble, will be exhibited in the gallery.
