Social Media

Primary research interests mostly stem from social psychology, an investigation into cultural conditioning and the development of belief systems that ultimately affect how we interact and perceive each other. Of particular interest is political expediency, how conflict and an assertion of power are seen as devices for problem solving. This brings into question our capacity to harm, moral and patriotic attitudes in an increasingly complex world, where values and fears are challenged.

A recent residency has encouraged an interest in semiotics and meaning, how juxtaposing images and objects can suggest an alternative narrative- where the outcomes exist somewhere between fact, fiction and the subconscious.

Personal work is held in both private and public collections.
